No material overflowing in the anterior part of the vacuum chamber. l The upper mixer is always placed perpendicularly to the extruding press; this structure gives you the following advantages: - Correct material feeding in a parallel way to the axis of the extruding press auger and on a long stretch - Consequent low energy consumption due to a reduced rotation speed of the extruding press auger - Uniformity of thrust on the material - No material overflowing in the anterior part of the vacuum chamber l Both upper mixer and lower extruder are driven by an independent reduction unit, the clutches of every operating unit are pneumatic. l Machine completely made of steel giving the maximum resistance and security for every part l Pulleys are equipped with rims for V-belts l A vacuum degree of 95% inside the extruder is guaranteed during operation. l Thanks to the dimensioning of the machine structure and of its different mechanical components it is possible to reach a max. extruding pressure of 30 Atm. 4 Upper mixer unit l The mixer unit has two shafts with mixing paddles. l The sealed reduction gears are running in an oil bath. Gears are made of special alloyed steel, and of the harden tooth surface and long life span. l The shafts are made of special hardened steel 40 Cr. l The grids necessary to the filtering and breaking of clay and to its de-airing have a wide useful surface; readily accessible and easy for maintenance. l The mixer ends with a wide vacuum chamber directly applied on the lower extruding unit. l The extruder is equipped with a very strong planetary gear reducer, of forced lubrication, flanged to the body of the machine. It is operated by means of a pneumatic clutch with overload protection. l Lubrication unit of the extruder reducer complete with oil cooling system. l In the vacuum chamber, the materials are distributed in parallel with the main extruding shaft, which results in an efficient distribution, more balanced feeding and even stress. l The feeding reels of the auger have interchangeable segments, easy for replacement. l The application of fixed and non-adjustable sealing structure in the joint part of the main axis of the extruder and vacuum chamber prevents oil and air leakage. The shaft is made of special hardened steel 40 Cr.
